Guide for WTT web system
The WTT web system is based on Dokuwiki. With the WTT-plugin it becomes a complete multi user content management system you can use and edit with groups. Nice.
Important System Infos
The following themes are important for knowing how to change special things in the WTT web system:
Current recommendations and restrictions
- For page names and folders use only lower case without special chars; also no blanks
- Uploads of files are currently limited to about 4MB. It depends on a bug in dokuwiki.
- If you need an upload of bigger files please send the document to
Ludger Philips or Benjamin Schiller - It is only allowed to upload dedicated filetypes like images (.png, .gif, …), sounds (.mp3,…) and .pdf
Page operations
It's easy to add new pages, change existing pages, restore old page versions. Just login into the WTT system. All further things will only work if you are logged in as user.

How to edit a page really
Dokuwiki has a simple Wiki Formatting Syntax. For the main features
like headlines, bold or italic font, images and so on use the toolbar on the top of
the edit window. It looks like that:
For better understanding some quick examples out of Wiki Formatting Syntax
Basic text formatting
DokuWiki supports bold, italic, underlined and monospaced texts. Of course you can combine all these.
DokuWiki supports **bold**, //italic//, __underlined__ and monospaced texts. Of course you can **__//combine//__** all these.
You can use subscript and superscript, too.
You can use subscript and superscript, too.
You can mark something as deleted as well.
You can mark something as <del>deleted</del> as well.
Paragraphs and lines
Paragraphs are created from blank lines. If you want to force a newline without a paragraph, you can use two backslashes followed by a whitespace or the end of line.
This is some text with some linebreaks
Note that the
two backslashes are only recognized at the end of a line
or followed by
a whitespace \\this happens without it.

You should use forced newlines only if really needed.

DokuWiki supports
This text will be aligned right.
;;# This text will be aligned right. ;;#
This text will be aligned left.
#;; This text will be aligned left. #;;
This text will be aligned center.

The text between the slash-asterisk and asterisk-slash (/*) …. (*/) is hidden (the brackets and points are used so that you can see it here.)
Links and Anchors
Internal links are created by using square brackets. You can either just give a pagename or use an additional link text.
Internal links are created by using square brackets. You can either just give a pagename or use an additional link text.
Wiki pagenames are converted to lowercase automatically, special characters are not allowed.
You can use namespaces by using a colon in the pagename.
You can use some:namespaces by using a colon in the pagename.
A link to a special section of a document is possible via an anchor. The section of the anchor has to be devided ba an “#” after the pagename.
A space must be exchanged with a “_”.

To define an anchor anywhere just use , where 'ancorname' is the name of the anchor.
Email-links
To send an email to ab@c.de with subject 'this subject' write: send email.
send email
To set the email body 'bodytext', too, write: Paracelsus-Center
<html><a href="mailto:ab@c.de?subject=this subject&body=bodytext">Paracelsus-Center</a></html>
Formating a table
Using the tablewidth plugin: https://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:tablewidth
The width has to be specified at the start of a line before the table. The first value is used as width of the table, the rest is for columns. If you want to omit some value use a dash instead. For setting the widths you can use “% from 100%” or “px” or “em” like in a usual CSS file. It's recommend to use the percentage syntax and not the fixed sizes like “100px” or “20em”. more informations about tables...
Code for a table with 5 columns
|< 100% 50px - 5em 10em 10% >| ^ A ^ B ^ C ^ D ^ E ^ | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 |
The rendered example
| A | B | C | D | E |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 |
